An Italian start-up called "Robotor" has invented a machine capable of sculpting masterpieces from Carrara marble as the great Renaissance artists did.
The founder of Robotor, Giacomo Massari, is convinced that this is the solution for revitalizing marble workshops with a more sustainable approach that saves human labor.
"The robot gets close to 99%. But it's the human touch that still makes the difference. That 1% is very important," said the founder of Robotor, according to Futurism.
