The statue of San Giorgio di Donatello dates from 1415-1417. It is part of the cycle of the fourteen statues of the patrons of the arts in Florence for external niches of the Orsanmichele church. The original marble is preserved in the Bargello’s Museum. A marble copy made by Tor Art is placed in the niche in its place.
